Chuckle at the Checkout
Just the other day, I was doing my grocery run and was about to exit via the self-checkout when I overheard an employee conversation that made me chuckle.
Employee (a bit uncertain): Do you think I'll manage to operate the floor scrubber?
Manager (started grinning): Hmm, I'm not sure. Do you have a driver's license?
Employee (even more uncertain): Well, yes, but not for this machine. Do I need to have that?
Manager (grinning loudly now): Of course not! Hehe!
Employee: *slightly embarrassed laugh.*
Me: *leaving the store while trying to hold back my laughter.*
No harm intended, none felt. Just a good joke between colleagues. And a surprisingly fun shopping trip for me.
