Knowember
Robert introduced this fun little block challenge: Knowember. A way to get to know each other as a blogger. Such fun! So I decided to join in on it. Check out other people's posts as well.

This is the weird me. Because, why not?
Name or nickname
I blog under my own name: Yordi. I feel like it's a name that can be pronounced well-ish internationally. My last name less so, as it is a really Dutch name. So I just keep my blog under my first name only. and did you know that I share my first name with Johan Cruyff's son? If only I could play football as well as him...
Where in the world you blog from
I blog from a little city some kilometers above of Amsterdam, in The Netherlands π³π±. This city is not necessarily the main topic of my blog. What's more, I doubt that I ever wrote a blog post where my city features. Feels like it's time to do this sometime in the future. But for most of my blog posts it doesn't really matter where they are written from as they are not about a certain location, but more about an idea or a (tech) tutorial.
What your blog is mostly about
I blog about anything, really. When I write a post, it could be about an idea I have that is related to my job as a teacher or my previous life as a professional software developer or my voluntary work as an athletics coach. It really depends on what's on my mind at the moment I write the blog post. Sometimes I do not even know what a blog post will be about until I start writing. But when I start, there's always something interesting that pops up that is apparently interesting enough to write about or something that I need to get out of my mind. Recently, I've discovered photography as a new hobby. So nowadays I tend to write more about this. For example, picking one of the photos from my library and explaining the circumstances under which I took this photo.
