Yordi - A Lifelong Journey of Growth

Now

What I do now:

πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ Internships. The time has come for most of my students in the associate degree Software Development to go on their internships. A time for me to travel around the country to visit them at their companies, hearing about all the amazing experiences they've had so far and to fire up new relations with these companies for future projects.

☁️ Personal Cloud. Looking into options to break away from the "big tech bros" cloud by hosting more applications myself. In other words, I'm building my own personal cloud. My first step has been to buy more physical music and digitize them onto a Navidrome server, using PikaPods, and I'm now looking into other options and other applications.

πŸƒ Trainer. I coach 11 to 15 year old athletes at my local athletics club to get the most out of this great sport.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Teacher. I strongly believe in transferring your own knowledge and enthusiasm to the next generation. That is why I am a software development teacher at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, a computer science teacher at PCC Het Lyceum and an athletics trainer at Hylas.
