Yordi - A Lifelong Journey of Growth

Riding into the Unknown

The school I work for planned a staff outing, and a few colleagues and I decided to ride our bikes to the location. One of the people in the team caused a stir in the app group with a notice about a weather alarm. I looked outside and saw nothing but sunshine. The sky was clear, and the forecasts for the rest of the day were good as well. After being accused of living in another reality and under the influence of the Mandela Effect, he reassured everyone that the notice had disappeared and that his weather forecast app probably fell victim to a software bug.

Everything was back to normal. Or was it?

My thoughts started racing. Maybe I've seen too many movies, but still... Maybe there was no software bug at all. Or perhaps the software bug was more extensive and "out of this world" than we thought.

What if the bug was actually a flaw in The Matrix? Like the same cat passing by in the exact same way in quick succession. Like two universes in the multiverse colliding and merging for just a brief moment. A moment that would normally pass unnoticed, but this time was observed.

Just then, clouds appeared in the sky that was previously bright and blue. Another glitch, maybe? More clouds appeared. I opened my own weather app, which showed some animated clouds now. Yet it also remained certain of a sunny forecast when the time came to start the planned ride.

I'm about to go out into what now feels like an unknown, strangely blurred future that could bend in one way or another. Which one it will be, only The Architect knows.
